2014 Whitfill T Style P-90 Aged Butterscotch

Excellent condition featuring single cutaway slab ash body with aged butterscotch blonde finish, single ply black plastic pickguard, two Whitfill P-90 pickups with black plastic pickup covers, one volume control and one tone control with knurled metal dome top knobs and three way pickup selector switch with black plastic switch tip mounted to elongated metal control plate, “chopped” Tele style bridge with three adjustable brass barrel saddles, bolt on maple neck, maple fingerboard with black dot inlays starting at the third fret, bone nut, Whitfill peghead shape with Whitfill Custom Guitars and Handmade In USA logos, six in a line vintage style tuning machines, C Whitfill and build date on the back of the peghead, four bolt neck fastening plate, string through body construction with six individual body ferrules, two strap buttons, aged nickel plated metal hardware and brown rectangular Fender branded G&G hard shell case with gold plush interior. This guitar weighs 6lb 12oz.

This 2014 Whitfill T style Custom guitar is in excellent condition. This instrument has been tastefully aged by the builder to give the appearance and feel of a vintage instrument, This process was extremely well executed. This guitar features a chunky C shaped neck. This neck feels outstanding and is incredibly easy and comfortable to play, especially if you're a fan of chunky 50s style neck carves. The fret wire on this instrument is in excellent condition and shows almost no play wear - There are no divots or dents. This instrument has been professionally set up and it plays incredible up and down the maple fingerboard with low smooth action and great intonation. The handwound Whitfill P-90 pickups sound absolutely incredible. I test drove this guitar through a 1965 Fender Super Reverb and it was an amazing experience! I was blown away with how woody, resonant and responsive this guitar is! The bridge pickup has a very hollow, woody bite that has plenty of power and sustain while the neck pickup has a bit darker and fatter tone but still retains an incredibly woody quality with plenty of articulation. Clean or overdriven this guitar excels. This instrument has a very snappy, superb feeling string tension and, in my opinion, is one of the best sounding non-vintage electric guitars that I’ve played in quite some time. This Whitfill is loud and clear when played unplugged and vibrates against your body when strummed. If you are searching for an incredible instrument with a lived in vintage vibe, impeccable playability and top notch tone, this Whitfill is an absolute ace.
