2005 Bad Cat Hot Cat 15 Amp + 1x12 Cab

Excellent condition featuring 15 watts of power (Class A), two EL84 power tubes, four 12AX7 preamp tubes and one GZ34 rectifier tube, two inputs (one for gain and one for clean), all steel output and input jacks, volume, gain, edge, level, bass, treble, brilliance and master volume  controls mounted to black faceplate with white chicken head control knobs, Hot Cat 15 script logo, light up Bad Cat logo on the front, original 1x12 open back cabinet with 'Bad Cat labeled Celestion 12” speaker, leather handles and two tone Oxblood and white Tolex covering with gold piping. 

This 2005 Bad Cat Hot Cat 15 head and cabinet are in excellent cosmetic condition showing only a few signs of play wear throughout (see photos) but is overall very clean. This amp is in perfect working order and sounds absolutely terrific. This is a fairly early model that was built when Mark Sampson was part of Bad Cat and his design and influence are definitely apparent in this amp. I have been fortunate enough to own a Sampson era Matchless HC30 for a number of years and I will say that this Hot Cat 15 has the same build and sound quality. Just a stellar sounding amplifier. The clean channel on this amp truly has a superior chime and lots of headroom. The gain channel is extremely hot and produces tons of rich, midrange saturation with crisp top end that is extremely transparent and articulate. This amp is exceptionally loud for 15 watts and would be perfectly suitable for stage and studio use.
