2016 Gibson Bill Nash LP60 Les Paul Standard Aged Cherry Sunburst

Excellent condition featuring single cutaway mahogany body, two piece figured maple top with cherry sunburst finish, single bound top body edges (thin through the cutaway), two Lindy Fralin “Pure PAF” humbucking pickups with cream plastic pickup surrounds, two volume controls and two tone controls with aged amber bonnet knobs, three way pickup selector switch with cream plastic pickup selector ring and aged amber plastic switch tip, single ply cream plastic elevated pickguard with metal mounting bracket, Gibson stop tailpiece and fully adjustable Nashville Tune-o-Matic bridge, set mahogany neck, bound rosewood fingerboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays starting at the third fret, bone nut, Gibson open book peghead shape, black peghead face with pearl Gibson logo and gold Les Paul Model signature logo, multi-ply black and white plastic bell shaped truss rod cover, Grover Rotomatic tuning machines, serial number and Made In USA impressed into the back of the peghead, single ply black plastic electronics and switch cavity cover plates, two metal strap buttons, aged nickel hardware and original Gibson hard shell case. This guitar weighs 9lb 15 oz and the original COA and hangtag from Nash Guitars is included.

This 2016 Gibson Bill Nash LP60 Les Paul Standard is in excellent condition. This is a 2016 Gibson Les Paul Standard that has been refinished and distressed by the Bill Nash Guitar Company using nitrocellulose lacquer. All of the nickel hardware and plastic parts have also received the Nash aging treatment. The final result is a well worn “1960” style reissue Les Paul with a better breathing finish and a “broken in” vintage feel. This guitar has a slim tapered neck profile with a 1 11/16” nut width. This neck is not super slim and still has a good amount of chunk to it - it is incredibly comfortable and easy to play. The finish on the back of the neck has been removed by Nash making for an incredibly smooth surface that won’t get sticky during long sessions or open air gigs. The fret wire on this guitar is of the medium jumbo variety and it shows no signs of play wear. There are no dents or divots in the frets and they were polished by Nash. This instrument has been professionally set up with incredibly low action and spot on intonation. This Les Paul is smooth and extremely fun to play. This instrument does not buzz or fret out and it plays outstanding up and down the rosewood fingerboard. The guitar is equipped with a set of Lindy Fralin “Pure PAF” pickups and is wired traditional 1950s style. These pickups sound absolutely fantastic and have a super woody articulate bite with just enough hollowness and plenty of sustain. This guitar does not get muddy and has a “fat” Telecaster vibe to the tone that I find to be quite pleasing. This guitar is housed in its original Gibson hard shell case and the Nash Guitars COA and hangtag is included. If you are after a superb playing and sounding Gibson Les Paul with a great looking distressed finish, this example would be a stellar choice!
