This 1976 Fender Deluxe Reverb is in very good condition. This amp shows signs of play wear throughout including some small nicks in the original Tolex covering and some scratches on the silver control plate. The washer that goes around the jewel light is missing. The original grill cloth has been painted black. The original speaker has been replaced with a Warehouse Veteran 30 and the footswitch is missing in action. This amp has been expertly serviced in Nashville, Tennessee, and is in perfect operating order. It was re-tubed, re-capped, throughly cleaned and inspected and a three prong power cable was installed for safe operation. This amp retains all four original transformers that date to the 11th, 11th, 17th and 23rd week of 1976. The potentiometers are all original and have visible codes that date to the 29th and 17th week of 1976.
This Deluxe Reverb sounds fantastic and can achieve beautiful rich clean tones that are perfect for plugging straight in and it's also righteous as a pedal platform. The spring reverb is exceptionally lush and strong on this amp and the tremolo is also in perfect working order. With the volume pushed, this Deluxe Reverb will break up into some very nice vintage saturation. This is a great vintage grab and go Fender tube amplifier that is perfect for smaller gigs and as a studio companion.
