1964 Martin F-50 Sunburst

This 1964 Martin F-50 is in excellent to near mint cosmetic condition. This instrument is extremely clean and looks brand new - I can’t find a mark or scratch on it anywhere. The original tuners were replaced by the previous owner with a set of Gotoh vintage style tuners prior to it coming into our shop. I do not have the tuners (wish I did!). The rest of this guitar is all original. This guitar is housed in a new brown hardshell case that fits like a glove and has a C.F. Martin logo on the exterior. 

This F-50 has a great feeling thin tapered neck profile with a 1 11/16” nut width. This neck is very comfortable in the hand and easy to play. The fret wire shows little to no signs of play wear. This guitar has received a professional setup and it plays outstanding up and down the rosewood fingerboard with low action and good intonation. The original electronics are in perfect working order and the original DeArmond Dynasonic pickup sounds really great! These quirky Martin guitars were built from 1961 to 1965 - Martin built 519 of them in total.
